You must hold a RYA Power Boat level 2 certificate, and 1 to 2 years powerboat use to apply.
(A pre-assessment of powerboat competency may be required)

Aim.

The RYA Safety Boat Course is a two-day, largely practical course designed to teach powerboat drivers how to provide safety cover for sailing boats, windsurfers, kayaks, and canoes. It focuses on rescue techniques, boat handling in confined spaces, and incident management.
