"Joined CSC with my family & started sailing when I was about 12. Taught by dad & coached by various members of CSC in many different dinghies & cruisers (Mirror, Mark, Minisail, Topper, Fireball & Scorpion).
Became very keen on racing our Scorpion sailing dinghy at Coniston & open events around UK.
I enjoy the odd cruise at sea. Have had some fabulous yachting holidays with my family & friends around the Greek islands.
Our latest addition to the fleet is a Kestrel sailing dinghy, which we intend to generally sail, club race & compete in the odd open event around UK." |

'First took to the water at Halifax sailing club in a mirror dinghy. Went on to sail albacore, enterprise, laser, 470, fireball, dart 18 and more recently a merlin rocket. Also competed in keelboats (707, micro 18, delta 25).
I have sailed at CSC for a number of years. Most successful in laser at national level.
Now demoted to crewing as the old crew has taken over.' |
